Stage 33. Miraz – Sobrado dos Monxes (24.9 km)

The exit from Miraz to the place of A Braña is made up of a magical natural environment, which will be more or less present on our way to Sobrado dos Monxes. In this section we will enjoy an unprecedented tranquility and connection with nature, crossing paths that were once trodden by the Galician Celtic tribes.

From A Braña, we continue walking upwards until we reach the Alto da Mámoa. Afterwards, we will pass through the place of A Roxica, before entering the town of A Cabana. From here, we continue through the places of A Marcela and Corteporcos, and it is here where we touch the ceiling of the North way, reaching 710 meters of altitude.

Afterwards, once we have arrived at O Mesón, we will only be 5 kilometres away from our destination: Sobrado dos Monxes.

To consider

Without realizing it, we leave Miraz in the province of Lugo, and we enter A Coruña shortly before entering Sobrado dos Monxes. In the next stage we will join the pilgrims from the French Way and we will be very close to the finish line!
