Today's stage will be short and without steep slopes through the Land of Bread, a region in Zamora characterized by cereal fields. On the route that separates Zamora from the town of Montamarta, we will fully immerse ourselves in the vast farmland of the Castilian plateau, which will be the landscape we will see in most of the stages from here on out.

A short transition day, ideal for taking it easy. You leave Zamora through the Plaza Mayor and cross the walls at the Doña Urraca gate, then drop towards La Hiniesta across open fields. Afterwards, Roales del Pan and tracks running parallel to the main road as far as Montamarta, overlooking the Esla reservoir and crowned by the chapel of Santa María del Castillo.Photos
