Stage 6. Lubián – A Gudiña (23.8 km)

Information

Today we will leave Lubián to officially enter Galician lands, after climbing the natural barrier of Alto de A Canta (1.265 m of altitude), 17 kilometres before arriving to A Gudiña. Despite the slope, the stage is pleasant and runs through a rural and mountainous environment. We will not find many services, so it is advisable to leave Lubián with everything you need.

A border stage. You leave Lubián and a lovely old cobbled track takes you to the sanctuary of Tuiza; from there you climb, on a gentle gradient, to the A Canda pass (1,265 m), the gateway to Galicia. After that it is all downhill on dirt paths, with the river Pereira alongside, the chapel of Nuestra Señora de Loreto and the hamlets of O Pereiro and O Cañizo, before entering A Gudiña.
