Information
Today we face a short stage of low difficulty that will take us from the town of Zafra to the plains of Villafranca de los Barros. The road, saving the high of San Cristobal, will not have hardly any significant slopes and the little that there is is downhill, so it can be one of the easiest stages of the entire Via de la Plata.

A short, easy stage, perfect for walking without hurry. You leave Zafra by the Plaza Grande, pass the tower of San Francisco and climb to the Alto de San Cristóbal, from where you can already make out the finish. You drop down to Los Santos de Maimona, with its palace of La Encomienda, and continue through fields to enter Villafranca de los Barros along calle Zurbarán.Photos
