A short, calm stage through the green Galician interior. From A Bandeira, among woods and gentle tracks, you leave the lands of Silleda to cross the river Ulla over the historic Ponte Ulla and enter the municipality of Vedra. Before finishing, the Pazo de Rivadulla is well worth a stop, famous for its avenue of ancient olive trees and its camellias —one of the loveliest gardens in Galicia— beside the church of Santa Cruz de Rivadulla.
This section is shared by the three Ways that merge on their way to Santiago: it belongs to the Vía de la Plata, the Sanabrian Way and the Camino de Invierno. If you would rather walk only the final Galician stretch with your accommodation and luggage taken care of, you can do so with the Vía de la Plata from Ourense.
