Information
Today we face a simple stage in terms of elevation and length, but somewhat complicated regarding the lack of supply points along the way. The stage runs for the 18 kilometers that separate Guillena from the town of Castilblanco de los Arroyos with no points in between. Therefore, we recommend carrying enough water and walking very early to avoid the hours of heat.

You leave Grimaldo and cross pastures and cork-oak woods to Riolobos, where you will find every service to get your strength back. The path then takes you alongside the Jerte canal and up the Las Monjas stream to Galisteo: you leave its square through the town wall and cross the Jerte by the so-called Roman bridge. A last stretch on the road drops you in Carcaboso.Photos
