After the mountains comes the breather: 45 kilometres of gentle descent across open plains and wide tracks that roll by themselves. You pass Fuente de Cantos, where the painter Zurbarán was baptised, and Calzadilla de los Barros and Puebla de Sancho Pérez, between cereal fields, on the way to Zafra. They call it Little Seville: walk from the Plaza Chica to the Plaza Grande.
