Information
The longest stage of the route: 87 kilometres from Zamora via Montamarta and the shore of the Ricobayo reservoir to Granja de Moreruela, where the Vía de la Plata splits in two and the Camino Sanabrés begins. The ruins of the Cistercian monastery of Moreruela are close by. Then Tábara and the Tera valley to Santa Marta and its Romanesque monastery. Pace yourself: services are scarce.
