Sixty-five kilometres over gently rolling terrain that only bites on the ramp up to Los Santos de Maimona. From Villafranca de los Barros the Camino turns into long straight tracks between the vineyards of Tierra de Barros, with no shade or services until Torremejía. The finish is Mérida, the Roman Augusta Emerita: save the afternoon for the Theatre and the Milagros Aqueduct.
