Information
The Vía de la Plata begins by crossing the Guadalquivir and leaving Seville via Camas and Santiponce, at the foot of the Roman site of Itálica. The first third is flat and shadeless; after Guillena the surface becomes track and the profile climbs some 360 metres steadily to Castilblanco de los Arroyos, already in the Seville sierra. Set off with water: the final stretch has no services.
