The monument to Cervantes

In Castilblanco de los Arroyos there is a curious pyramid that attracts a lot of attention, it is a monument to Cervantes. It was made by the sculptor Manuel Castaño Beza to remember the stay of Miguel de Cervantes in Castiblanco when he was on his way to Extremadura to work as a tax collector. It is at the entrance to the village, to welcome visitors, and is a pyramid with half-reliefs of Cervantes and Two Maidens.
