Today we start a stage with a lot of history from Lourentzá, in which the green landscapes of meadows and tranquility will dominate until we reach Abadín. The highlight of the stage is Mondoñedo, one of the seven capitals of the ancient Kingdom of Galicia. If you have never been here before, it is worth stopping to get to know this magnificent town.

A long day with a first-class stop. From Lourenzá you take the San Rosendo nature trail to Mondoñedo, one of ancient Galicia's most emblematic capitals, with its cathedral: it deserves a good long break. After that, choose between the official route through the Valiñadares valley or the mountain variant, both heading to Abadín, where the stage ends.
