This is the queen stage of the Primitive Way from Oviedo to Lugo as it is the one that requires the most physical effort, but everything will be rewarded as it is one of the most beautiful. The ascent to Puerto del Palo can be done by road or by a dirt road. After reaching the top you will reach the abandoned village of Montefurado, from where it is worth stopping to contemplate the scenic spectacle in front of you.
