A calm half stage between Triacastela and Samos along the variant that follows the valley of the river Oribio, through oak and chestnut woods and stone hamlets. The reward comes at the end: the monastery of San Xulián de Samos, one of the oldest in the West, still home to a Benedictine community and open to visitors. Ten easy kilometres to walk unhurried and sleep at its feet.
