A very short, very green stage. Shortly after setting off you reach Ferreiros, with its Romanesque church of Santa María, and continue through rural hamlets to Portomarín, which appears like an oasis of slate roofs and white houses. Its history is unique: the village was moved stone by stone to higher ground when the Belesar reservoir flooded the old site —still visible beneath the waters of the Miño.
