Information

The town of O Grove sits geographically on a tombolo, joined to the mainland by the sandy bar that forms the space of the Lanzada. For this reason, we present you this stage, a circular stage in which you will be able to know the coastline of O Grove and enjoy all its corners. However, if you prefer, it is also possible to skip it and continue the experience in the next stage.

There is nothing written about this circular stage of O Grove in terms of how to do it, you can start at the end that most catches your attention, as the order of the factors will not alter the product. As in the rest of the route of Padre Sarmiento, we will find this circular section signposted.

Apart from the impressive coastal landscape that we will enjoy, the most representative landmarks that we will be able to know in our little detour are: the islands of Sálvora, the island of La Toja y its curious hermitage covered with shells, deposits, lagoons, an open-air museum, the Siradella viewpoint and several beaches.

To consider

Staying an extra day in O Grove to do this circular stage and enjoy its charms is totally optional and depends on you and the time you have available. There are pilgrims who decide to stay and enjoy the sun and the beach, but others prefer to continue walking.
