Today we leave Illa de Arousa behind to join the spiritual variant of the Portuguese Way in Vilanova de Arousa. This stage is really short, and leaves us all the time we need to enjoy the last places of the island. So take a last dip in these paradisiacal beaches, and let's continue, there's not much left!

A short, bright stage. You leave A Illa de Arousa through the natural park of O Carreirón, all white sand and clear water, one of the best spots in the ría for birdwatching. You cross the bridge again and follow the coast along the O Terrón beaches to Vilanova de Arousa, birthplace of Valle-Inclán, whose house museum is well worth a visit.Photos
