First stage by bike from the Plaza del Obradoiro (pick up your bike beforehand at our partner shop). Follow the yellow arrows as you leave Santiago behind through meadows and woodland to Ponte Maceira, one of the prettiest villages in Spain, with its Roman-origin bridge steeped in legend. You pass through Negreira —visit its Pazo de Cotón— and continue through rural scenery, with views of the A Fervenza reservoir, as far as A Picota.
