First of all, we want you to know that to do the Camino de Santiago you don’t need to be a great athlete or be used to walk long distances every day. Everyone can do it, and we assure you that you can too.

If you are considering this trip and you are not sure of your physical condition, don’t worry. The first thing you should do is to make sure that you are going to walk an average of 20 kilometres a day. If you find yourself unable to do so, you have two options, start training, do shorter stages, or join an organised group trip with a support vehicle.
