Stages of the Excursion to Finisterre and Costa da Morte

First stop - Muxía

Our first stop will be in the town of Muxía, where we will find the “Santuario de la Virgen de la Barca”, and the famous “Piedras del Milagro”, which symbolize the remains of the boat of the apostle Santiago with which he arrived in Muxía. It is a real spectacle to see how the waves break on the rocks.

Second stop - Finisterre Lighthouse

Cape Finisterre, the “ancient end of the world”. It is the KM 0 of the Camino de Santiago and here you will find your last step. Pilgrims burned their clothes as a gesture of purification after walking the Camino. A lighthouse full of legends, wishes and promises that rest under the relaxing sound of its waves.

Third stop - Finisterre Village

After visiting the cape we will go down to know this fishing village and its port, where we will be able to choose between its many restaurants and taverns, where to eat fresh fish and taste a good menu.

Fourth stop - Ézaro Waterfall

Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful images of the Costa da Morte, being the only waterfalls in Europe that flow into the sea.

Fifth stop - Carnota

Here we will see the second largest horreo in the world, these ancient constructions have been used for hundreds of years to store grain and other spices.
