Stages of the Day trip to A Coruña and Betanzos

You will visit the Tower of Hercules, symbol of the city and the oldest lighthouse of Roman origin in the world that is still in operation and has a splendid viewpoint that can be accessed to enjoy spectacular views over the Atlantic Ocean.

You will get to know A Coruña on foot and its spectacular square Plaza de María Pita, local heroine in the fight against the French, the Mirador and Garden of San Carlos and Riazor Beach, all of them part of the immense heritage of the city of A Coruña.

You will finish the day in Betanzos, one of the 7 provincial capitals of the old Kingdom of Galicia, visiting its historic centre, declared a Historic-Artistic Site, and tasting its omelette, considered “The best omelette in Spain”.

Don’t miss the opportunity to taste these exquisite pinchos and of course you will be spoilt for choice, as every year a national competition is held here in which a large number of local establishments take part.
