You leave behind the last kilometres in Pontevedra province, through woods with water mills and tiny villages, until you cross the old Roman bridge at Pontecesures. On the other side awaits Padrón, birthplace of Rosalía de Castro: visit her House-Museum and, of course, the legendary Pedrón stone where the Apostle's boat was moored. Round off the day with some Padrón peppers… fair warning, a few of them bite!
