The beaches of Miño

This beautiful town has a great tourist attraction thanks to the existence of four beautiful beaches. The Playa Grande has had a blue flag since 1984 so you can enjoy the crystal clear waters. La Ribera beach is better known as “the little one”, ideal for a quiet evening. On the other hand, the Alameda beach has spectacular variations in level between high and low tide, you can also visit the beach of Perbes and Playa Lago. Playa Grande, Perbes and La Ribera currently hold the Blue Flag, an important recognition of the quality of the waters, accesses, etc.

Hiking: The route dos Muiños

It is a small signposted linear route of 1.3 km that presents a low difficulty, so it will be accessible to all travelers who want to know a little better the natural landscape of Miño. It can be done in less than an hour and starts in the municipality of Miño itself, following the AC-160 road until you reach the chapel, the official start of the route. Along the way you can contemplate rivers, mills, vegetation and resting places until you reach the old hydroelectric power station of Güimil.
