Arrival in Logroño

Logroño has always been historically considered as a crossroads of the French Way of Saint James, a city that has known how to modernize and preserve its traditional character at the same time.
If you are a wine lover, this city is a perfect starting point for your Camino de Santiago. A walk along the city’s best-known street is a good way to get to know its culture and people. Calle del Laurel is the temple of “chiqueteo”, that is, the tasting of skewers accompanied by a glass of good wine. Among its cultural and artistic heritage, the Concatedral de Santa María la Redonda stands out, where you can see the only painting by Michelangelo in Spain.
